Beautiful gardens and park in Paris : the 5 best :)
The capital have a lot of famous monuments and urban spaces but also wonderful gardens where you can relax and come with your friends, children or family ! To help you to find the best place for you we picked 5 gardens really interesting.
Jardin du Luxembourg
This garden is located in the 6th district of Paris near to the latin quarter. It was created by Catherine de Médicis in 1612. The area of the garden is huge : 25 ha. You have two side in this place : the french side of the garden and the english side. Between the both side you can find a big forest with a huge pond. There are 106 statues, the Médicis fountain and a diversity of flowers.
You have a playground for children and different activities for adults (chess, tennis etc…). Finally several photography exhibitions are on the garden gates.

Jardin des Tuileries
The Tuileries garden was edified in 1564 by the queen Catherine de Médicis. The design of the garden was imaginated by the famous gardener André Le Nôtre in 1664. It is located near to famous places in Paris like the Louvre and the Concorde place. This place embodies the culture and can be a very nice walk at every moment of the day. Finally, you can find the Orangerie museum in north west section of the garden.

Parc Monceau
The Monceau garden was constructed in the 17th century and supervised by the duke of Chartres. It is considered as one of the most elegant garden in the capital and is located in the 8th district of Paris which is also a really nice place. You can find a lot of statues, wide trees, a pond and several species of birds.
If you have children, they can enjoy their time thanks to the playground. Indeed you will have a peacefull time in this quiet garden.

Parc des Buttes-Chaumont
The Buttes Chaumont garden is located in the north east of the capital in the 19th district and is one of the biggest garden in Paris. This place is also original due to its special height difference and its escarpments. Thanks to these shapes you can see nice views on several quarters of Paris (for example Montmartre). You can have a really nice time here with the playground for children and some places to eat. The Buttes Chaumont have many types of trees and birds and a charming little bridge.

Parc Montsouris
This garden is located in the center of Paris in the nice 14th quarter of the capital. It’s a perfect place for students who want to relax because it’s near the campus of thUniversity of Paris. It was cosntricted a long time ago by Napoléon III and was inaugurated in 1869. There you can find a lake, very interesting trees from China, a restaurant, and a lot of birds. Finally the parc welcome a lot of concerts between may and september.
